Noel Rose, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Noel Rose is an internationally renowned expert in autoimmune disease; he has been doing research in this specialty for more than 50 years. Dr. Rose was instrumental in establishing the whole field of autoimmunity, and his textbook, “The Autoimmune Diseases” is a classic. He is currently professor of pathology and molecular microbiology and immunology and Director of the Johns Hopkins University Center for Autoimmune Disease Research, and is Chairman Emeritus of the Scientific Advisory Board of the American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association.
